Swayam
SWAYAM, a government-initiated effort that aims to meet the three cardinal principles of education policy which involve accessibility, equity, and quality. The goal of this initiative is to render the finest teaching and learning resources available to everyone, including the most disadvantaged.
All the courses are interactive, designed by the best professors in the country, and are open to learners for no cost. Over 1,000 qualified academics and instructors from around the country assisted in the development of these courses. To ensure high quality delivery and production of materials, nine national coordinators are appointed.
USE OF THE COURSE/CERTIFICATE
The certificates issued bear the stamp of CCE, IIT and hence are valuable additions when the student is applying for jobs.
CRITERIA TO GET A CERTIFICATE
Average assignment score = 25% of average of best 8 assignments out of the total 12 assignments given in the course.
Exam score = 75% of the proctored certification exam score out of 100
Final score = Average assignment score + Exam score
YOU WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR A CERTIFICATE ONLY IF AVERAGE ASSIGNMENT SCORE >=10/25 AND EXAM SCORE >= 30/75.
