The Alumni Speaks: A Panel Discussion by Torch Bearers aimed to provide current students with first-hand insights from successful alumni on how to effectively utilize their master’s degree for career success. The session sought to inspire students by sharing personal experiences, practical knowledge, and strategic approaches to excelling both academically and professionally.

Description:

Institute of Professional Excellence and Management, Ghaziabad (IPEM) had an insightful and engaging Alumni panel discussion at the Seminar Hall on 14 September 2024, themed “How to Earn Your Master’s Degree Well for a Successful Career.” Our esteemed alumni shared their valuable experiences on leveraging their academic journey to achieve career success. Moderated by Dr.AasthaSawhney, the session offered a unique opportunity for students to hear real-life success stories and gain actionable advice.

The Panelists:

  • Sunyna, Manager, HR, at FCS Software Solutions (MBA Batch 2016-18)
    Ms. Sunyna emphasized the importance of aligning academic learning with industry needs. She highlighted how practical experience through internships played a pivotal role in her transition into HR. She shared how practical knowledge and internships were key in shaping her HR career, emphasizing the importance of aligning education with real-world industry demands.
  • Mohit Bhardwaj, Management & Sales Head at SUZU Group of Companies (MBA Batch 2017-19)
    Mr. Mohit shared how his MBA helped him build essential management and sales leadership skills. He also spoke on the power of networking during studies and how it set him on a path to career success.
  • Gaurav Tyagi, Senior Project Manager at Art-E Media Pvt. Ltd., Delhi (MCA Batch 2016-18)
    Mr. Gaurav discussed how his MCA degree laid a solid foundation for his career in IT project management. He emphasized the need for technical expertise, continuous learning, and soft skills in the ever-evolving tech industry.

This discussion showcased how mastering both academic and practical skills can lead to a successful and fulfilling career Dr. Aastha Sawhney moderated the session so brilliantly and guided the discussion and kept it engaging for all attendees.
